Common login solutions

Before reading further, check the following:

• Double-check that you're using the correct email address that you signed up with
• Ensure your caps lock isn't on
• Ensure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled in your browser
• Remove aggressive ad blockers from your browser
• If you have made too many attempts at logging in, wait 30 minutes

Enable cookies

Chrome

1. Click the three dots menu (⋮) > Settings
2. Go to Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
3. Select "Allow all cookies" or add drumrudiments.app to allowed sites

Safari

1. Go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy
2. Uncheck "Block all cookies"
3. Or select "Allow from websites I visit"

Firefox

1. Click the menu (≡) > Settings
2. Go to Privacy & Security
3. Set Enhanced Tracking Protection to "Standard" or "Custom"
4. Ensure "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked

Mobile browsers

• iOS Safari: Settings > Safari > Block All Cookies (turn off)
• Android Chrome: Settings > Site Settings > Cookies (allow)

Enable javascript

Chrome

1. Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings
2. Click JavaScript
3. Ensure it's set to "Sites can use JavaScript"

Safari

JavaScript is enabled by default and cannot be disabled in newer versions

Firefox

1. Enter "about:config" in the address bar
2. Search for "javascript.enabled"
3. Ensure it's set to "true"

Ad blocker issues

If using an ad blocker:

1. Temporarily disable it to test if it's causing the problem
2. If it works after disabling, add drumrudiments.app to your whitelist:

• uBlock Origin: Click the extension icon > Power icon
• AdBlock Plus: Click extension > Pause on this site
• Other blockers: Look for "Trusted sites" or "Whitelist" in settings

Account access problems

Account lockout

• After 5 failed login attempts, your account will be temporarily locked
• The lockout period lasts 30 minutes
• You can still use the "Forgot your password?" magic link during this time
• If you need immediate access, contact support

Password reset process

1. Click "Forgot your password?" on the login screen
2. Enter the email associated with your account
3. Check your email for the magic link (usually arrives within 2 minutes)
4. If you don't see the email:
   • Check your spam/junk folder
   • Check for typos in your email address
5. Click the magic link in the email
   • Links expire after 24 hours
   • Links can only be used once
6. After logging in, go to drumrudiments.app/account to set a new password
   • Choose a strong password (at least 8 characters and a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols)
   • Don't reuse passwords from other sites
   • Don't share your password with anyone

Still can't log in?

If you've tried all the above and still can't log in:

1. Clear your browser cache and cookies
2. Try using a different browser
3. Try logging in from a different device
4. Check if your internet connection is stable
5. Ensure you're going to the correct login URL: drumrudiments.app/login

Security notes

• We never store passwords in plain text
• We use industry-standard encryption
• We will never ask for your password via email

If you can't hear audio on your Android device, follow these steps:

Check device settings

Media volume

1. Press your device's volume buttons
2. When the volume slider appears, tap the arrow to expand all volume controls
3. Ensure "Media" volume is turned up
4. If using headphones, check both device and headphone volume
5. If using a BlueTooth device, make sure you're connected to right device

Do not disturb settings

1. Swipe down from the top of your screen to open Quick Settings
2. Look for the Do Not Disturb icon (usually a crossed-out circle)
3. If it's enabled, tap to disable it
4. Alternatively, go to Settings > Sound > Do Not Disturb and ensure it's off

Browser permissions

1. Open your browser settings
2. Find Site Settings or Permissions
3. Look for Sound or Media permissions
4. Ensure drumrudiments.app is allowed to play sound
5. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies

In-app audio settings

Player settings

1. Tap the settings icon (⚙️) in the player
2. Adjust both the snare and metronome volume sliders
3. Ensure neither is muted

Samsung-specific issues

1. Check if Separate App Sound is enabled (Settings > Sounds and vibration > Separate app sound)
2. Ensure the browser isn't set to play through a different audio output

Additional troubleshooting

If you're still experiencing sound problems:

1. Try closing all other apps that might be using audio
2. Restart your browser
3. If problems persist, restart your device
4. Test sound with another app to ensure your device's audio is working properly

When contacting support, please provide:

• Your Android device model
• Android version
• Browser type and version
• Steps you've already tried

1. Check that the sound switch on the side of your phone is not in silent mode.
2. Make sure the "Do Not Disturb" mode is not on. Open Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb.
3. Ensure your volume is turned up using the volume buttons.
4. Within the app player, tap the settings icon (⚙️) to adjust the snare and metronome volumes.

iPhone and Brave browser

When using Brave browser on iPhone, some users experience a white screen after logging in. This is a known browser-specific issue that we unfortunately can't fix. For the best experience, we recommend using either:

• Safari (default iOS browser)
• Chrome
